RIED KREUTLES
Altitude 212 - 230 m
Hours of sunshine 2419 h
Soil gneiss and granite
Ried Kreutles in front of Loibenberg is built from Löss. In the humus horizon there is a pebble of a eroded, ice age Danube terrace which was also transported by slope erosion from Loibenberg down into Ried Kreutles. The wines on Löss are expressive and can reach a Baroque fullness depending on the handwriting of the winemaker.
Up for something new?
The Gattinger family looks forward to welcoming guests to the winery. The wine range can either be tasted in the new tasting room - with a stunning view of the Ried Loibenberg. Or would you like to taste the wines in the middle of the action and get a better overview of the different vineyards? This is possible on the Loibenberg experience platform. You would prefer a new perspective on the Wachau? Not a problem - the wooden boat takes you along the Danube past the region's top single vineyards.
